Pope, church leaders call for guaranteed health care for all people

CNS: "Pope Benedict XVI and other church leaders said it was the moral responsibility of nations to guarantee access to health care for all of their citizens, regardless of social and economic status or their ability to pay."

Nothing new, but great to hear it.  This is really important when so many Catholics are embracing fundementally immoral economic ideas that are wholly incompatible with Church teaching and the very nature of Christianity.
