Robert G. Christian III is a PhD student in American Politics. He has a BA in Political Science from the University of the Pacific and an MA in International Security from the University of Leicester. His research interests include: US foreign policy perspectives; American political parties and ideology; human rights; just war theory and contemporary conflict; education policy; and Catholic social teaching and public policy.
Robert has served as a teaching assistant in the Catholic University department of politics since 2008. He has also worked as a research assistant for the Institute for Policy Research and Catholic Studies, where he was named a Graduate Fellow in 2011. He will be teaching a course at CUA this summer on US foreign policy in the post-Cold War world.
Robert is a Fellow at Democrats for Life of America (DFLA). He is the editor of DFLA’s blog, Everyday Life. He previously wrote a column for the online journal Asia Chronicle.
